Humanity was a public-facing mural by Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi, installed across the windows of Fotopub Project Space in Ljubljana from 25 December 2020 to 15 January 2021. Enlarging his direct graphic language to the scale of the building, the intervention translated the title into Slovene—ČLOVEŠTVO—and placed a two-metre distancing arrow within the first letter.

Installed during COVID-19 restrictions, when access to cultural venues was sharply limited, the work was made to be encountered from the street. The former petrol station’s glass façade became both support and public address: a concise image about proximity, separation and the shared vulnerability named by humanity.

Perjovschi developed the Humanity drawing within The Time of the Virus, his 2020 series responding to the pandemic. At Fotopub, the drawing became architectural, local and collective: legible across the building without requiring entry to the gallery.
