In cooperation with the Center for Creativity at the Museum of Architecture and Design, a conference and an exhibition on the use of blockchain technologies within cultural and creative sectors was proposed. The project was set up as a public discursive program aiming to educate Slovene cultural operators on the possibilities of incorporating blockchain technology into their everyday operations. With a program of public networking meetings, lectures and panel talks, Jenny from the Block explored the potential connections between the Slovene cultural and artistic scene and the crypto industries. The exhibition contextualised this further by highlighting the possibilities as well as the issues of its use. Our goals were to search for models for potential integration of blockchain into cultural production and to present culture as a space for collaboration, investment and implementation of blockchain technology.

The exhibition introduced a narrative environment, set in a fictionalised future where blockchain technology already governs various aspects of life. The narration of this fictional state is related from the perspective of a governmental employee Jenny, a disenfranchised cultural worker, who started to obsessively analyse the effects of this technology in secrecy.
